Two ways to do this, and we are not hiding either one

Leave a public review

If we did right by you, this is the single most useful thing you can do for us. It takes two minutes and it is how small shops get found.

Review us on Google

Tell us privately

Anything you would rather say directly: a complaint, a near-miss, something awkward, or a suggestion that is not a review. It comes to us and nowhere else.

Use the form below

Why both links are on this page, for everyone

Plenty of businesses show you the Google link only if you rate them highly, and route everyone else to a private form. It is called review gating, it violates Google’s terms, and the FTC treats it as deceptive.

We publish a page saying we will not buy, incentivize or write reviews. Filtering who gets asked would be the same dishonesty wearing a nicer suit. So the Google link is right there whatever you think of us. If you are about to use it because we let you down, we would genuinely rather hear it privately first so we can try to fix it. But that is a request, not a gate.

Rate your experience

Star rating and a short note. Include your email if you want a reply.

If something specific went wrong, tell us which thing and when. “The staging link took three days to arrive” is something we can fix. “Communication could be better” is not.

This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
Good or bad, the specifics are the useful part.
Your name
Only if you want a reply.

What we are actually trying to learn

Four questions. Answer whichever one you have an answer to and ignore the rest.

The four feedback questions and what we do with each answer
The questionWhat we do with it
What went right? So we keep doing it deliberately instead of by accident. Speed, communication, the design, the results, whatever it was.
What needs work?Be blunt. Polite feedback is easier to receive and harder to act on.
What should we do more of?Something small that helped, that we might not realize mattered.
What should we stop?Friction. A step that felt pointless, a form that asked too much, an email you did not need.

The most useful feedback we have ever received was a sentence about a specific email arriving at a specific point in the build and being confusing. It changed one template and every client since has had a better week. Small and specific beats considered and general, every time.

If something actually went wrong

A form is the wrong tool for a real problem. Here is where to go instead.

Where to take each kind of problem
What went wrongWhere to take it
Your site is down or brokenCall +1-248-205-6977, any hour, any day. Do not use this form.
Something on an invoice is wrongCall. Every charge is meant to be something you agreed to first, so if one is not, it is our mistake to fix. How billing works
A change request is overdueReply on the project thread and say so plainly. We would rather be chased than have you quietly decide we are slow.
You want to end the arrangementEmail us. 30 days notice, clean exit, you keep everything. We will ask why, once, and then we will get out of your way.
You want to speak to Matt directlySay so in the form or on the phone. There are four of us, so it is not a difficult escalation.

We would rather hear it early and badly phrased than late and polite.

What happens to what you send

Five things. The fifth is the one people actually worry about.

  • It goes to us, and only us. Not a review platform, not a third party, not a list.
  • Matt reads all of it. Not a summary of it, and not a dashboard about it.
  • You get a reply if you asked for one, within a business day.
  • It is reviewed properly once a month, at the month close, alongside the numbers. Patterns get changed; one-offs get answered.
  • Nothing gets published without the checkbox. If you did not tick the permission box, it never appears anywhere: not on the site, not in a case study, not in a proposal.

Criticism is the useful half. Five stars and “great job” is nice and tells us nothing. Three stars and “the review round felt rushed and I did not know what I was allowed to ask for” is worth more than fifty compliments, because it names a thing we can go and fix.

Thirty seconds

Rating, a sentence, done. Or the Google link if you would rather say it in public.
